Report – Fund Raising Event for Food Pantry:
Guru Nanak Food Pantry Inc at
Residence Lucky Mohel & Zeina Jee family (Shelton)
organized on Saturday, June 8, 2024 9am to 11:30am
Today, June 8, Saturday Lucky Mohel and Zeina Singh family organized a Fund Raising Event at their residence (Shelton) to raise funds for Guru Nanak Food Pantry Inc Hamden CT. The following are the highlights :
1. It was joined by American and Family friends.
2. of Course every participant donated via Cash, check and PayPal.
3. American families brought in Grocery Items too.
4. American families offered to do volunteer work during renovations, Cleaning etc.
5. One gentleman is CEO of a company which wholesales Shampoos, Body Wash etc. offered to donate monthly when pantry gets in operation.
6. Couple of local active politicians also joined this event
7. There was a positive feeling and vibrations through out at this gathering.
Thanks to Lucky Jee and Zeina Jee and the entire family, especially Zeina Jee’s parents visiting from India. Special thanks to the children Ekam & Tegh for loading the grocery in my car.
Total amount Raised: $1000 plus plenty of Grocery items
