By the boundless grace of Waheguru Ji, Guru Nanak Food Pantry Inc, Hamden CT has now been running successfully for over one year, supporting more than 80 families each month (nearly 170 individuals and growing). This seva is possible only because of your love and the spirit of Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s eternal teaching — Vand Chhakna (to share with the needy).
We invite each family to join the following resolution of the heart:
• Donate $20 on the birthday of every family member.
• Commit to a $20 monthly donation as an ongoing offering of gratitude.
Encourage your children to participate in physical seva at the pantry
So that they may learn compassion, humility, and the spirit of helping the needy, putting into daily practice the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Our doors are open to all faiths and all families. These small acts of love become living prayers. Birthdays become offerings and ultimately bring Blessings in daily life!
Each $20 gift helps provide groceries and more to families in need.
